Ponca City Junior Baseball
April 7th, 2009It was called the Spring Pre-Season Tournament. By looking around at the fans it looked more like the Mid-Winter Tournament. A lot of sleeping bags, blankets and stocking caps were present. The weather did cooperate enough to get the tourney completed. I helped coach one of the teams so didn’t have time to take many photos. Everyone did have a great time. We saw some really good baseball played.
Glad to see Jose Sparks back from the college ranks to call some more little league games. If anyone knows where to get a good chicken fried steak, please let Jose know.

Studying the opponent.
Here are a couple of photos taken of the Dodgers preparing for the championship game. Notice the different styles of preparation. Kids, you gotta love em’.
